Dancing with the Stars Season 30 was one to remember, featuring some amazing performances from the featured celebrities and their partners. Several couples received perfect scores of 40 throughout the competition, but there were some dances in particular that stood out among the rest.
Iman Shumpert ended up winning Season 30, becoming the first NBA player to take home the Mirrorball. In Week 6, he and his partner Daniella delivered one of the most memorable dances in the show’s recent history. For Horror Night, they performance a Contemporary routine inspired by the movie Us. The couple moved their bodies into creepy positions, and Iman lifted Daniella up like she weighed nothing. Their final expression frightened the judges, who gave them a perfect score.
Season 30 runner-up JoJo Siwa and her partner Jenna had the first perfect score of the season in Grease Week, but it was their Argentine Tango in Week 9 that we can’t stop watching. As the first same-sex partnership in the show’s history, the two women brought power and sensuality to the dance like we’ve never seen before. The crowd went wild for the routine, which ended in a shower of confetti. The judges rewarded them with a perfect score.
In Week 9 of the competition, TV host Amanda Kloots delivered an emotional Contemporary routine with her partner Alan, in memory of her late husband Nick Cordero, who passed away in 2020 of Covid-19. Amanda was in tears as she and Alan performed the graceful, barefoot dance, which was set to a cover of Cordero’s song “Live Your Life.” The powerful performance earned the pair a perfect score from the judges.
In Week 8 of the competition, The Office star Melora Hardin and her partner Artem earned their first and only perfect score of the season with a Paso Doble for Janet Jackson Night. They danced to Jackson’s song “If,” showing off an edgy and dramatic routine. Melora had a fierce and determined expression throughout the performance.
Also in Week 8, Olympic gymnast Suni Lee and her partner Sasha delivered a vibrant Samba performance to Janet Jackson’s song “All for You.” Suni had struggled with nerves throughout the competition and even faced online negativity, but she rose to the occasion for this fun, feel-good dance. The couple earned their first and only perfect score of the season for this routine.
Fitness instructor Cody Rigsby and his partner Cheryl didn’t receive a perfect score in DWTS Season 30 until the finale, but they made it one to remember. The pair danced a sassy Freestyle routine to “Beethoven’s Fifth,” which turned into “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels (Just Dance Version)” by Todrick Hall. The energetic dance earned them a combined score of 40 from the judges, and they finished the season in third place overall.
