America’s Got Talent alum Lindsey Stirling recently announced her upcoming holiday tour. The award-winning violinist posted the tour dates along with the places she will perform on social media. The tour will feature Stirling’s interpretation of holiday music, which pairs perfectly for the Christmas season.

Lindsey Stirling to Embark on Snow Waltz Christmas Tour

On September 12, Stirling announced her 26 date tour on social media. This tour begins on November 17 in Grand Prairie, Texas, and ends with a special show on December 23 in Los Angeles, California. Since Stirling has performed in front of more than 800,000 people on her tours, fans expect tickets to sell out pretty quick.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 AM, and can be purchased online or in person at the Box Office. Although ticket prices have yet to be revealed to the general public, a fan on Reddit revealed prices for two of the shadows.

“Some pricing info from AXS: Grand Prairie: $39.75-$169.75, Milwaukee: $40.50-$100.50,” the fan wrote.

This upcoming tour was created to promote her newest album, Snow Waltz. The album features eight classic covers and five original tracks, showcasing Stirling’s mesmerizing melodies added with a holiday twist. Her songs promise to deliver the perfect soundtrack for the Holidays.

Stirling’s new album Snow Waltz, will be out on October 7, featuring the new original song “Ice Storm.” The new single is a guitar-filled instrumental showing Stirling’s lean towards rock music.

Since Stirling’s time on America’s Got Talent, she’s been successful in the music industry. This violinist’s shows combines dance and aerial, while playing her instrument.

Stirling Found Success After AGT

Believe it or not, Stirling had a not-so-easy run on AGT during her season. The judges critiqued and gave her a red buzzer before she was voted out of the competition in the Quarterfinals. Stirling even considers her elimination the best thing that’s ever happened to her musical career.

“The same reasons I was told I wouldn’t succeed are the reasons people travel hundreds of miles to see me now.” said Stirling, who rose to global prominence after her AGT appearance, then created her own genre of music, DubStep Dance Violin.

Aside from Stirling’s upcoming tour, she remains active on YouTube. This violin player has earned over 13.4 million subscribers and nearly 3.5 billion views since its creation. In December 2015, Stirling was also listed in Forbes’ list of highest-earning YouTube stars at number four.

Her co-headlining tour with Evanescence was named one of Live Nation’s best-selling amphitheater tours of 2018. Last year’s Christmas tour sold over 250,000 tickets along with over 15,000 tickets for her live-streamed Christmas special.
